I'm Hilary, a 21-year-old Pennsylvanian going to school in big city Canada, studying history, and trying to become a journalist. This journal is a mix of boring personal stuff that is mostly friends-only, with occasional public posts that tend to be a bit more thoughtful. I'm very liberal and very political, and enjoy hearing opposing opinions argued constructively but will not hesitate to block you if I feel you're being rude. My interests list and entries will probably tell you more about me than anything I could tell you here.
If you'd like to become LJ friends, I'm pretty open to new people but do leave a comment introducing yourself. I may not friend back if I don't feel like we have a lot in common, and I may un-friend you later if I feel like neither of us is getting anything out of it (ie we never comment on each other's journals). Please don't take this personally.
Of the icons I've created for myself, please don't take any without asking first. Frankly, there are much better icons out there anyway XP
